There are
so many misconceptions and misunderstandings about stem cell
research. You could ask any two individuals and hear two different
answers to what stem cell research is
all about, or even how it is being used or produced.
Dr.
Douglas Kerr will not only offer the FACTS to
many of these misconceptions but also offer true evidence
to how this research is needed and being advanced today. Come
and hear the FACTS!
“Renewed Vision to Restoring Life”
Dr. Kerr leads an innovative and ground breaking team of researchers at Johns
Hopkins University. The program is called “Project RESTORE”
Project RESTORE strives
to restore hope, restore function and restore the lives of
patients and families suffering with transverse myelitis
or multiple sclerosis. This project funds researchers to work
together to discover new biological indicators
of neuroimmunologic diseases, develop new imaging strategies,
and conduct clinical trials to support the creation of progressive
treatments.
Research dollars and funding for these types of programs are limited. Your
support in attending this important event will help the overall cause and allow
new cures to help those struggling with these life altering diseases.
